: Movie synopsis/PLOT :

In a village, a boy named Bhalya is often bullied and teased by his schoolmates for he being dull in the studies. Even Vicky, the spoilt son of a wealthy man in the village, Appa Saheb, is always in conflict with him . They often fight with each other but when caught, punishment is given only to Bhalya. That’s why Bhalya doesn’t have many friends. However, he loves a goat in his house to which he has named Badshah. Badshah is the world for him. Bhalya’s father, Sada Lohar works extremely hard for the living. Since Bhalya doesn’t have mother, it is difficult for him to take care of this child but he is performing his duty happily. Anna is a noble man and devotee of lord Vitthala who loves his ancestral farm. He has taken loan to cultivate it but it’s his misfortune that mountain of the debt is becoming big day by day. Sada always advises helpless anna to sell the farm and go to live with his son in the city. But a nana’s belief that ‘ farm is not just a piece of land but a farmer’s mother’s tops him from going there. One day, a letter from the government comes to Bhalya’ s school saying that the state education minister will come to the village school on independence day for the prize distributing ceremony of the science exhibition and the flag will be hoisted from the hands of best student of the school selected by teachers. Appasaheb distributes new school uniforms to all the school students and makes it compulsory to wear on the day of the event. But Vicky spoils an ink on Bhalya’ s new uniform out of envy and Bhalya’ s dream to attend the ceremony gets broken. The big day arrives! Finally, of which every person is so eager to witness and the education minister, takes everyone by surprise, as the honor of the flag hoisting ceremony is given to Bhalya. So, what is it that Bhalya does? That changes everyone’s perception of this boy, and makes them all celebrate him? The curiosity will unravel the tale behind this Dhh Lekacha (stupid boy)
