The plot is simple, a good-hearted ruthless cop tries to take down the heartless cold blooded underworld gangsters of the Bengaluru all the while investigating a series of deaths(murders).

Where the movie scores is the direction and screenplay of soori, swag/arrogance attitude of savanna, the new form of Dananjaya as a villain, and kick-ass music from Charan Raj.

Screenplay and direction:
The screenplay non-linear initially you might have to make assumptions or come with a set of a dot, only to connect them as the movie progresses. Soori’s authentic portrayal of the underworld/police characters lifestyle and conversation is always his signature. His previous collaboration with Shivanna in “Kaddipudi” was well received by public and critics as well before for the same reasons as to how he portrays a close to reality kind-of environment on screen with only subtle build-ups that you won’t even notice as build-ups.

Shivanna acting:
Well, the cop he is, not just a usual one; but a stubborn ruthless personality, who would play the game to any level to stop the bad guys. The attitude he carries is arrogant and revengeful but he also a proud cop.
The swag couldn’t suit Shivanna any better, with his high levels of energy and who else has a long intimate relationship with ‘long’ in sandalwood other than Shivanna himself?. He is cop whose weapon of choice is either a hand-gun or a machete(long), killing the bad guys in the way of their own, giving them ‘ironical deaths from legal hands’ is the satire here. When it comes to the energy of Shivanna he is just 25-year-old even now or even younger.

Dananjaya as Daali:
The new look and role are well done by Dananjaya, got me to hate him on screen, which means he was quite convincing in his acting and appealed very much menacing and dark psychopathic character. So, a job is well done from Dananjaya.

Charanraj’s kick-ass music:
From mixing the music to blending with the screenplay, the music was flawless.
The title track is viral. One of the first folk-vocal-trance track in Kannada. Kaikini penned the lyrics as impressive he has always been and Charanraj only takes advantage of it to add amazing renditions to make raw lyrics even more beautiful/kick-ass tracks.

Could have been better:
The climax showdown between the Tagaru-Dalli could have been more tactical and expected more of unique camera shots to make the fight unique but unfortunately, the showdown was only ‘good’ enough whereas in all departments the movie score ‘Very good’.
