it was a really good movie but not the true story my mom’s grandma told her about la Llorona before she passed away. la Llorona is about a woman who would get pregnant with anyone and she would drown he children then killed herself now she wanders around a river or lake crying and searching for her children if you hear her crying she claims her tears are like fire once she calmed you will die.

The river scene completely threw me off as I knew nothing of the folk tale from before the movie. As the movie was suspenseful and eerie, some jumpscares were easy to predict, as others threw me out of the water (pun intended). The noises were what really got me, as the figure and face of La Llorona was bearable for me. Overall, I loved this movie, and I think it is a good send off for my many more experiences in the horror film genre.
